Users must actively enable this option and tap "Save" to enable SMS messaging. The consent screen displays our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links, message frequency disclosure, and standard carrier disclaimer. Users can also provide consent by texting START to our designated number.

9.2 Types of SMS Messages

If you opt in to SMS notifications, you may receive the following types of messages:

  • Task Reminders: Notifications about tasks that are due soon
  • Daily Summaries: Overview of tasks and appointments for the day
  • Task Assignments: Notifications when someone assigns you a task
  • Chore Rotation Alerts: Notifications when it's your turn for a rotating chore
  • Task Completion: Notifications when tasks you created are completed
